We had an amazing time with Mike. He’a incredibly knowledgeable about fishing on Megunticook Lake and showed us all the ins and outs. It really paid off, because my buddy and I caught some massive large mouth bass both days we fished with Mike. He’s also a very chill and fun dude with a great sense of humor. I’d give him 6 stars if I could!

If we could give him 10 stars, we would!!! My husband and I booked a 4 hour lake fishing trip with Mike during our vacation to Camden, Maine and what a day!!! Mike was super helpful, incredibly patient, had all of the supplies we could possibly need and was the best guide. Both my husband and I, despite being extremely inexperienced in fishing, each caught a bunch of fish including large and small mouth bass!! This was such an incredible experience!!!! Mike was a great tour guide, had coffee and muffins for us, took pictures of us with our fish, told us all about the lake, the fish, and pointed out amazing wildlife that we would have missed had he not said anything. It was a GREAT day and we didn’t want it to end! We had a ton of fun and it was an awesome way to do something interactive and absolutely recommend it!! If you’re looking for a fun, informative, incredible hands on experience in the Camden area, Mike Kinney is your guy!!!!

My buddy and I went on a half-day fishing trip on Lake Megunticook with Mike. The guided trip was a Father’s Day gift from our wives. It ended up being one of the best gifts I’ve ever been given in my life. Big reason why: Mike is awesome! He’s a fantastic guide and really knows what he is doing. His knowledge of this lake is so impressive; he knew all the hot spots to take us and he put us on some nice fish. More than just his knowledge, Mike’s a great guide because he’s a good dude all around; very personable and fun to hang out with. This was my first guided fishing trip but it will not be my last and for sure I’ll be heading back north to fish with Mike again! Maybe I’ll get my wife a guided trip with Mike as a Mother’s Day present and I’ll tag along?!
