Megunticook is a beautiful clearwater lake located in Camden, Maine. The lake is full or largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, rainbow trout, and white perch. The superb fishing and beautiful scenery make it one of my favorite places to fish.

Fishing on Megunticook Lake is a great way to experience a side of midcoast and Camden, Maine that most travelers never get to see. You can spend a morning on the water catching fish, watching loons, eagles, and deer then be back in town for lunch, shopping, or a cruise on a schooner. Or, you can devote an entire day to fishing Megunticook and see all hidden coves and secret fishing holes.
