Dates: May – September
One of my favorite trips to offer, remote pond fishing is a true adventure. These multi-day fishing and camping excursions are run on select wilderness waters in northern Maine. Because of the backcountry location, anglers should be in good health and able to hike up to 3 miles over rugged terrain with a full pack. For those who may not be up for a true backpacking trip, many remote ponds are accessible by sea plane. At certain ponds, anglers have the option of staying in rustic cabins. Additional costs apply for float plane and cabin accommodations.
Meals are included in these trips. Your guide will provide most camping and fishing equipment. Remote pond trips are a minimum of two days.
